In this junior-level role, you will support the legal and compliance function in ensuring that the company’s international business activities comply with applicable international trade laws and regulations. The position is particularly suited for candidates with a strong academic legal background who are seeking to deepen their expertise in international trade, export control, and sanctions law within a corporate environment.
Your tasks:
- Support the ITC team in the analysis, interpretation, and application of international trade laws and regulations, including export control, sanctions, embargoes, and customs-related requirements.
- Conduct legal research on international, EU, and national trade regulations and contribute to the assessment of their impact on business activities.
- Assist in legal risk assessments related to international trade compliance and support the development of appropriate mitigation measures in line with internal policies and the Code of Conduct.
- Contribute to the preparation, review, and maintenance of legally compliant documentation, internal guidelines, and procedural instructions.
- Support internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams by providing legal input on international trade compliance requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments in international trade law and assist in translating legal changes into internal compliance measures.
- Assist in the monitoring and documentation of export control processes to support legal certainty in international transactions.
- Support the preparation and continuous improvement of internal training materials on ITC-related legal topics.
Your profile:
